This weekend is Don's birthday. Since we were dating, Don and I have had a tradition of making an adventure of one another's birthdays. So for the next few days we will be celebrating Don's birthday. Today (Gianna, Sophia & myself) have a whole line-up of fun activities to do. But before our adventure begins, I wanted to snap a few pictures of our yard and garden. All what you see here is his handy work:-)

Our first stop is T-Bones on the lake, in Lake Wylie. It's a beautiful on the water location, great for an afternoon or an evening out!
Both of the girls were asleep so it made for a quiet meal:-)
Don and I enjoyed some of their appetizers and some really delicious fried fish and peanut butter chicken.
Following lunch we went on to our next stop, which was the movies!
We watched the movie, "Chimpanzee" before heading home to prepare for our evening. And of course, we could not leave theatre without getting a little bit of candy :-)
After the movie we retired home to get ready for our evening plans. We had one more surprise for Papa's birthday adventure-Day 1, which was a picnic at the park.
I packed a dinner for the girls, made a little basmati rice for Papa and I to share and grabbed our picnic basket & tablecloth and we headed down to Blakeney for their weekend music on the green.
For dinner we had a little sparkling apple cider and some chicken kebabs and salad from our favorite greek restaurants.
